May 16, 2021
On May 16 Jeff Bryant, Howard Kohl, Jill Morrissett, Betsey Caballero, Nikki Eaddy, and Martin Bailey were approved as the Transitional Pastor Search (TPS) Team. As they work with Darrell Webb of the Southern Baptist Convention of VA (SBCV) to bring forward a candidate to the church, they will provide regular updates starting on June 6. The Ministry Placement Team process of identifying church members for the TPS team considered a cross section of our Small Groups, Ministries, age groups, and ministry experiences. Please pray for our team as we seek God’s direction to find a transitional pastor who will help transform and strengthen our church in preparation for the calling of a permanent pastor.
